NH Licensed Acupuncturist

You should have 2-5 years of experience in TCM Acupuncture. Having a specialty in orthopedic and/or fertility care is a bonus. This is a part-time position that could quickly turn into a full-time position in a short period of time.  Available days to start are Fridays & Saturdays and possibly Wednesdays. We anticipate available hours at 16-27 hours/week. We are currently scheduling new clients into January 2021, so the demand is great. Pay is based on years of experience and ranges $25-$35/hr to start with additional per client compensation/ 10% of herb and product sales.

Benefits include complimentary Acupuncture, products at cost, earned time after a 90-day probationary period, Dental and Vision care insurance with a consistent 25 hours a week after 90 days. Massage therapy at cost, up to $1,000/year in continuing education reimbursement.

Essential Job Functions: 

  • Assess client condition by conducting brief health history and interview, observing client, interpreting findings, and developing a treatment plan
  • Maintain safe and clean treatment environment and adhering to Clean Needle Technique protocols; complying with procedures, rules, regulations, and laws
  • Administer acupuncture treatment using sterile, single-use needles at specified locations to address a patient’s chief complaint and underlying root cause or imbalances
  • Implement adjunctive therapies as needed such as gua sha, cupping, moxa, etc.
  • Evaluate effects of treatments by observing, noting, and evaluating patient’s progress; modifying when necessary
  • Document patient treatments by charting in electronic records in a timely manner
  • Adhere to strict guidelines regarding guest health information, ie. HIPPA
  • Educate patients on the quality of life benefits of consistent acupuncture care
  • Provide a recommended course of treatment in the form of a treatment plan
  • Light cleaning and restocking of supplies as needed
  • Participate in team meetings, building team cohesiveness, and clinic growth
  • Attend local networking opportunities to continue to build client customer base
  • Continue to build on skills through continuing education opportunities

 

Minimum Requirements: 

  • Certified by the NCCAOM (National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine)
  • Master’s Degree in Acupuncture or Oriental Medicine from an accredited institution
  • Current Acupuncture license in the state of New Hampshire
  • Ability to make guests feel safe and comfortable during acupuncture treatments
  • Exceptional time management and ability to treat 2-3 patients per hour
  • Confident in presenting and selling services
  • Willingness to learn and implement new techniques and treatment protocols
  • Confident and positive disposition with great energy
  • Able to work weekends/evenings
  • Able to use office equipment; computer, tablet, and phone system
  • Maintain a professional appearance and wear company approved attire
  • Maintain Professional Liability Insurance

Abilities Required: 

  • Able to stand and/or sit for long periods of time
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds
